poster for la mole comic con done by nebezial

All for Nebezial taking over a couple hundred comic book stories say AYE!

Can we get gailsimone as the writer/-co-writer?

Because they would Rock the Heavens.

I can’t help but imagine, say….Gail Simone, Nebezial, KrazyKrow and Rachel Pollack writing fabulous comics together :)

That would be my dream team to have working on some awesome comic books

About fabulous queer and trans lady superheroes having adventures and being really amazing <3

Just so you know, Rachel has a new book out.  I think I messaged you about it.  It’s The Child Eater, and it’s about someone who can see the dead :)

You did indeed! I’m planning to buy it come pay-day as I need some new books to read…having finished Doctor Who: The Engines of War and Tales of Trenzalore recently and finished reading Thief of Always this week…

I would work with this artist in a Metropolis minute. And this piece is gorgeous!

Even though it might sound harsh and impolitic, here is the bottom line: if you don’t want to get shot, tased, pepper-sprayed, struck with a baton or thrown to the ground, just do what I tell you. Don’t argue with me, don’t call me names, don’t tell me that I can’t stop you, don’t say I’m a racist pig, don’t threaten that you’ll sue me and take away my badge. Don’t scream at me that you pay my salary, and don’t even think of aggressively walking towards me. Most field stops are complete in minutes. How difficult is it to cooperate for that long?

LAPD officer Sunil Dutta, writing 100% seriously in a WaPo op-ed entitled (I kid you not) “I’m a cop. If you don’t want to get hurt, don’t challenge me.” (via hipsterlibertarian)

The sense of entitled, sadistic, “moral disengagement” by the police is truly disheartening. How can they build trust in a community they are using for their role-playing FPS fantasies?

When The Media Treats White Suspects And Killers Better Than Black Victims

On the afternoon of Aug. 9, a police officer fatally shot an unarmed, black teenager, Michael Brown, in Ferguson, Missouri. Details remain in dispute. Eyewitnesses have said that Brown was compliant with police and was shot while he had his hands up. Police maintain that the 18-year-old had assaulted an officer and was reaching for the officer’s gun.
